Me
Hmmm...
Ceramic Techniques
A little about my setup...I work primarily in high-fire stoneware. About 2/3 of my work currently is thrown on my Laguna Kickwheel, and about 1/3 is currently hand built.
Most of my ware is single fired, meaning that I omit the bisque firing and glaze the unfired clay. This feels right to me. It reduces time and cost, but honestly, I seem to have fewer problems with glaze "fit" using this process.
I do some Raku firing also. The Raku Boxers you see on my site and in my store are not produced by me. Rather, they are slip-cast and bisqued by my friend Diane Evans of Studio Bisque in Nottingham England.
When I recieve them, I Raku fire them. They are meant to be a fundraiser for Boxer Rescues. My primary firing method is cone 10 reduction - a typical firing takes about 12 hours. My kiln is an old 10-sided electric kiln that I have converted to propane. It fires to about 2300 degrees Farenhiet.

My photography is just an amusement
I have no illusions that I am a great photographer, but its fun. I use an old Olympus Cammedia4...nothin' fancy. My "Digital Art" is produced on a Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet. My primary art training was in drawing and 2-D art, so its a natural thing for me. I have never been good at painting though, so the Bamboo allows me to pretend I can paint.
My web stuff takes many forms. I author and host sites for Boxer Rescues, friends and even a few paying clients.
I own my own web and mail servers, so I'm not restricted by other servers' script/hosting restrictions.
I still hand code!
